Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Italian Sausage
- 1/2 Onion (sliced)
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 48 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
- 24 oz. Tomato Paste
- Handful Basil
- Handful Parsley
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 3 Cups Water
- 4 oz. Grated Romano
Brown sausage (out of casings)–drain. Add onion and garlic till brown–drain again. Add everything else. Add water slowly. May need to add more water after 1 hour of simmering. Add grated Romano cheese. Pour over spaghetti. Really good the second day.
