Ingredients

  • 5 Cups ‏All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup ‏Cold Butter, Cubed
  • 1 Cup ‏Shortening
  • 1 Package (1/4 oz.) ‏Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/2 Cup ‏2% Warm Milk (110° to 115°)
  • 2 ‏Large Eggs, room temp
  • 1 Tbsp ‏Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ‏Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cups ‏Confectioners' Sugar

I loved how these turned out. Light and not too sweet, they’re perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. And plenty of time to bake a different cookie while the dough is rising.
